Our Parish Clerk endeavours to produce draft minutes in around 10 days post meeting and will remain in draft form until approved at the next full meeting of the Council. Once approved at the appropriate meeting, signed copies of the minutes will replace the draft minutes online.

These files may not be suitable for users of assistive technology and are in the following formats: pdf. If you require an accessible document please contact the Clerk.

Bottisham Residents Annual Meeting – Have Your Say

Residents of Bottisham are invited to attend the Annual Residents Meeting.

Date & Time: Tuesday 14 April 2026 at 7:30pm
Location:  Bottisham Sports and Social Club

This is your opportunity to have your say about the future of Bottisham.

Bottisham is your village, and the Annual Residents Meeting is the chance for you to raise issues, ask questions and discuss ideas with representatives from a range of organisations, alongside your Parish Council.

Your Parish Councillors are elected by you to represent the wants and needs of the community, and this meeting is a key opportunity to share your views.

Residents are encouraged to raise any issues that matter to them, including:

  • Transport and public transport

  • Policing and community safety

  • Environmental concerns

  • Highways and potholes

  • Planning and development

  • Community facilities and village life

Looking to the Future

We would especially welcome your views on this question:

What do you think are the three biggest challenges facing Bottisham in the next five years — and how can the parish council and residents work together to address them?

Questions You Might Want to Ask

You might also want to ask questions such as:

  • Is Bottisham pursuing any tree planting or biodiversity projects?

  • What is the parish precept for 2026–27?

  • How is the parish supporting community groups and village events?

  • Are there plans to improve paths, benches, or green spaces?

  • What discussions have taken place with Highways about potholes and with drainage authorities?

  • Are there plans to improve cycling connections to Cambridge or nearby villages?

  • What progress has been made on reducing speeding through the village?

  • What discussions have taken place about safer crossings or walking routes for schoolchildren?

  • Are there plans to improve online communication or village updates?

  • How does the parish council respond to issues raised by residents on social media and bring them into formal discussion?

Everyone Welcome

All residents of Bottisham are welcome to attend.

Your voice matters in shaping the future of the village.
